Marketing and Branding Strategy Proposals


Chimpanzee Trust invites qualified and experienced marketing consultants/agencies to submit proposals for the development of a comprehensive marketing and branding strategy. The primary goal is to enhance our organization’s visibility, communication, and partnerships aligned with our mission and objectives.


Established in 1998, the Chimpanzee Sanctuary and Wildlife Conservation Trust is a Non-Governmental Organization dedicated to enhancing captive chimpanzee well-being and preserving wild populations. Currently managing Ngamba Island Chimpanzee Sanctuary with 52 rescued chimpanzees, the Trust addresses issues such as habitat destruction, illegal wildlife trade, and bushmeat trade. Integrated with nationwide education, the organization operates a sustainable tourism business at Ngamba Island, providing unique experiences in chimpanzee conservation. We actively seek expertise for a dynamic marketing and branding strategy, aiming to amplify global impact and awareness. Through deliberate action and local solutions, our vision is a present and future where chimpanzee populations thrive, habitats are protected, and global conservation perspectives shift positively.

Scope of Work:

The selected consultant/agency will be responsible for:

  • Conducting a thorough assessment of Chimpanzee Trust’s current marketing and branding efforts.
  • Developing a comprehensive marketing and branding strategy aligned with our organizational goals.
  • Outlining clear timelines, deliverables, and associated costs.
  • Providing recommendations for communication, brand positioning, and partnership strategies.
  • Collaborating with internal teams to ensure seamless implementation.

Submission Guidelines:

Interested consultants/agencies are requested to submit their proposals by 30th January 2024. The proposals should include:

  1. A detailed overview of the consultant’s/agency’s experience in developing marketing and branding strategies for non-profit organizations.
  2. An understanding of Chimpanzee Trust’s mission, vision, and current positioning.
  3. Methodology proposed for the development of the marketing and branding strategy.
  4. A detailed timeline for the project, including key milestones.
  5. A clear breakdown of costs associated with the consultancy.

Submission Instructions:

Proposals should be submitted electronically to no later than 30th January 2024. Late submissions will not be considered.

Evaluation Criteria:

Proposals will be evaluated based on the following criteria:

  1. Relevance and experience in developing marketing and branding strategies for non-profit organizations.
  2. Understanding of Chimpanzee Trust’s mission and alignment with our values.
  3. Methodology and approach proposed for the project.
  4. Budget considerations.
